YOUR INFORMATION.

When you submit a membership application we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and — only if you choose to provide them — your company or profession, city, how you heard about us, the name of a referring member, the areas of membership that interest you, and any note you write.

Our web host records standard technical information such as your IP address for security and abuse prevention. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

To consider your application and to contact you about it. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Applications are stored in an encrypted database operated by Neon on servers in the United States, and are accessible only to Eighty Social staff who review membership. The site is served by Vercel. Email is sent through Microsoft 365 from our info@80social.ca mailbox.

Because that storage is outside Canada, your information may be subject to lawful access requests by authorities in that country.

If you become a member, we keep your details for as long as your membership is active. If your application does not proceed, we keep it for up to twenty-four months in case a place opens or you apply again — then we delete it.

You may ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it at any time. Write to info@80social.ca and we will respond within thirty days.

You may also withdraw consent to being contacted at any time, though we may then be unable to continue considering an application.

This site and the club are intended for adults aged 19 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
